Make this delicious Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe. It is so tender and juicy with a great flavor. It will be a new family favorite weeknight meal.
SLOW COOKER PULLED PORK
‘Tis the season for Crockpot dinners…and I have another SUPER easy dinner idea. This one tastes so good and is usually a crowd pleaser, and is great for feeding large groups. This Slow Cooker Pulled Pork tastes delicious and has hardly any prep work involved.
PULLED PORK
This is one of the most tender Pulled Pork Recipes I have tried because of one ingredient…Root Beer.
If you are not a fan of Root Beer, you can substitute it for other Colas like Dr. Pepper or Coca Cola. If you don’t want to use any soda at all, simply omit it from the recipe and pour the BBQ Sauce in the Crock Pot at the beginning and add a cup of water.

This is also delicious with fresh veggies and Coleslaw. Serve it on a delicious roll and you have a great meal on your table that the family is going to enjoy. You have very little clean up or prep involved and your house smells amazing all day long!
You can also, use the pulled pork on sandwiches, meat on a salad, a wrap or on top of some nachos. It is so versatile and delicious!

I think using pork tenderloin is a waste! If you’re going to cook it to pieces in a crock pot, use a cheaper cut like pork shoulder roast that will become tender and stay juicy over the long cook time.

Hi,
If you want to substitute chicken instead, how many pounds of chicken do you use and is breast or thighs better to use? Thank you! ?Reply
The Idea Room Assistant says
Laurel- I would say use the same amount for the chicken and I like to use chicken breasts. Really either would work though. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
