This recipe is very similar to the golden milk that humans take. Some pet parents make their own golden paste for pets. But we discourage that because there is no way of determining the right amount of turmeric and the right dosage of the paste. If given in the wrong amounts, even a really beneficial herb like turmeric can be harmful to their body.

Oat and almond milk is safe for pets as a tiny snack on some rare occasions.Dairy milk contains lactose whichis not healthy for pets, especially in large quantities. Almond milk is a dairy-free alternative that offers a bit of protein and a flavor that some pets love.
Make sure your pet doesn’t have almond allergies. Make sure to use unflavored, unsweetened oat or almond milk because artificial sweeteners and flavors can be dangerous to pets.
Oat and almond milk should only be served to pets in small quantities occasionally, it should not be a part of their regular diet as it can lead to obesity and an upset stomach.
Turmeric is a therapeutic herb that has been used for centuries. Turmeric is considered to be a superfood and contains the active compound curcumin. Studies have shown Turmeric to be an excellent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-fungal, antibacterial, anticoagulant, antiseptic and astringent. It has also been shown to help with liver function, bile production, and externally for wound healing.
Curcumin is beneficial for arthritic conditions due to the anti-inflammatory properties and the effect on lipoxygenase inhabitation. Turmeric extracts can scavenge free radicals, increase antioxidant enzymes, and inhibit lipid peroxidation. Epidemiological studies havelinked the frequent use of turmeric to lower rates of mammary, lung, colon, and liver cancers. Wow!

Your turmeric spice lattewill essentially be a cup of almond milk with a softsweet taste of glycerin and turmeric. On a lovely fall day, you can enjoy a cup and share a few spoons with your fur babies. Remember, moderation!
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup of unflavored, unsweetened oat or almond milk
• NHV Turmeric
• 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
Steps
Method 1 – On the stove
1. Pour oat or almond milk and pumpkin puree into asmall saucepan
2.On a stove top, cook on low-medium heat, stirring frequently, until warm but not boiling
3. Pour into pet-safe mug or bowl
4. Make sure that milk cools down to safe temperature for serving to your pet (test a couple drops on your inner forearm first)
5. Add suggested dosage of NHV Turmeric for your pet’s weight, stir until well mixed
6. Serve and watch your furkiddo enjoy!
Method 2 – With Milk Steamer
1. Pour oat or almond milk into athermal, steel frothing carafe
2. Steam the milk until it reaches warm temperature (keep in mind that almond milk doesn’t froth as much as regular dairy milk or soy milk)
3. Pour into pet-safe mug or bowl
4.Make sure that milk cools down to safe temperature for serving to your pet (test a couple drops on your inner forearm first)
5. Add pumpkin puree Add suggested dosage of NHV Turmeric for your pet’s weight, stir until well mixed
6. Serve and watch your furkiddo enjoy!
